NDIS Assistive Technology
It's no secret that acquiring Assistive Technology (AT) is a complex, time consuming process in the NDIS. This course is designed to make it a little easier, guiding Allied Health professionals and service providers through the policy and giving tips for getting requests right. It will:
- Help you understand how to write reports that evidence Reasonable and Necessary recommendations
- Explain the difference in process for AT that is considered Level 1, 2, 3 and 4
- Teach you what service time you can claim when supporting someone with AT, for example researching, trialling, training and more
- Look at some of the specifics for home modifications, vehicle modifications, assistance animals, prosthetics and hearing aids
