The NDIA is making significant changes to funding for employment supports. Support Coordinators will play a vital role if the NDIA is to reach its goal of 30% of participants in meaningful employment by 2023.
This half day workshop will give Support Coordinators the information, knowledge and inspiration to guide a person through an exploration of their employment options from identifying what’s possible and how it can be funded, including:
🎯 Who's who in the disability employment landscape
🎯 Employment options for people with disability
🎯 Funding for employment (NDIS and beyond)
🎯 The role of the Support Coordinator
Who is this workshop for?
Support Coordinators with an intermediate to senior level of experience who are looking to extend their beginner-level knowledge of employment options for NDIS participants.
Following are some of the reasons you might be here:
· I want to offer specialised support to people preparing to leave school.
· I’m interested in developing a specialisation in supporting people into employment.
· I’m looking to fill a gap (employment) in my otherwise comprehensive support coordination knowledge.
